nintendo wii games

I read an article regarding nintendo Wii games the other day that stated the following: "This is the first generation of kids who are more likely to die before their parents due to obesity and it's related diseases." Now, if that is not a wake up call I don't know what is. That comment sure grabbed my attention.

My kids enjoy the nintendo Wii games and of that I am thankful. I have found in particular that one of the nintendo Wii games called Wii Fit really gets the kids up and moving. I don't know about your kids but mine love a video game. If they play Wii Fit and get some physical activity without even realizing it, that's just gotta be a good thing, right?

The nintendo Wii games and specifically the Wii Fit game uses a balance board as the main interface between the user and the game. It's sensors can read the kids weight and also how they shift their weight. A hand held remote control allows the kids to enter additional data to personalize their avatar on screen. The remote is also necessary to detect other movements. So, give 'em the remote and let 'em go for it!
